Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo on the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. She graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to improve, before moving she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married in an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has played a range of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show during the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4 of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an extensive online presence on social media.
